Resume

Here is my resume, highlighting my work experience, certifications, and the skills I have gained along the way. These experiences have helped me develop both professionally and personally, preparing me to take on new challenges and contribute effectively in any role.

Business Marketing Project

In my Business Marketing course, I worked on a comprehensive project analyzing CarMax’s MRCC (Marketing Research & Competitive Conditions). This project explored CarMax’s B2B marketing strategy, target personas, competitive landscape, and digital presence. I evaluated the company’s strengths in nationwide vehicle sourcing, its value proposition for fleet and government buyers, and areas of opportunity within content marketing and lead nurturing. The project also included creating personas, mapping the buyer journey, and developing strategic recommendations to enhance CarMax’s B2B outreach and customer experience. This experience strengthened my skills in research, strategy development, and practical marketing analysis.

Strategic Managment Project

For my Strategic Management course, I completed an in-depth company analysis of PayPal, focusing on its business model, competitive positioning, financial performance, and long-term strategic outlook. The project examined PayPal’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, as well as key industry trends shaping the digital payments landscape. I also evaluated the company’s strategic initiatives such as global expansion, innovation in fintech, and partnerships and provided recommendations to support sustainable growth. This project strengthened my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of corporate strategy in a fast-evolving industry.

Social Media Marketing Project

For my social media marketing class project, the group I was in focused on Aristocat Cafe in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Our goal was to create a tailored social media strategy that would help increase their online presence and engage more customers. We worked on developing content ideas, scheduling posts, and analyzing audience engagement to build a stronger connection between the cafe and its community. This project gave me hands-on experience in managing social media platforms and understanding how to use them effectively for a local business.

My Journey at JMU

My journey at James Madison University has been a transformative experience both academically and personally. I transferred to JMU as a junior in 2023, excited for a fresh start and new opportunities in the College of Business. In January 2024, I added a concentration in Digital Marketing to deepen my skills in areas like analytics, branding, and online strategy. After completing COB 300, I expanded my education even further by adding a minor in Global Supply Chain Management, allowing me to understand the operational side of how businesses function. Throughout my time at JMU, I’ve grown not only as a marketing professional but also as a student ready to take on real-world challenges. Now, as I prepare to graduate in December 2025, I’m proud of the path I’ve taken and the foundation JMU has given me for my future career.
